<P>Welcome. We appreciate your interest in our web site. We offer instruction in the Japanese martial art of Aikido
and the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do. Please take a moment to view our class times and location.
We would love to have you come by and visit. We have been conducting classes in the Colorado Springs area for
Tang Soo Do since 1987, and 1989 for Aikido. Both clubs were founded by Vernon A Medeiros.
He has been training in both Aikido and Tang Soo Do since 1978.

<P><EM><A href="akd/aikido.htm"><EM>Aikido</EM></A></EM> is a modern Japanese
martial art derived from jujitsu and other traditional Japanese martial
arts. <EM><A href="tsd/tangsoodo.htm"><EM>Tang Soo Do</EM></A></EM> is
a modern Korean martial art derived from Japanese karate and
traditional Korean martial arts. Both
arts stress self-improvement, respect for others, and promoting peace.
However, the two arts are different, and classes for each are
taught separately.</P>
