Welcome!

The Center for Aikido and Tang Soo Do Studies is a not-for-profit club offering traditional instruction in the martial arts of Aikido and Tang Soo Do to students from seven years of age and up.  General classes are open to all students regardless of skill level, and we accept beginners at any time.  All classes are taught by instructors with at least 10 years of experience in their art, and all classes are taught in a friendly and cooperative manner.

In our classes we stress:

o       Physical development that enhances coordination

o       Mental development that enhances self-discipline and cognition

o       Spiritual development that enhances our outlook on life and teaches us that peaceful conflict resolution is best for all society

Please Note: We teach traditional martial arts, not sports. There are no contests or competitions among participants.

The Center for Aikido and Tang Soo Do Studies was founded by Vernon A Medeiros, Aikido Sensei and Tang Soo Do Sabom-nim.  Mr. Medeiros has been training in Tang Soo Do since 1978 and in Aikido since 1979.  We have been offering classes since 1987 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, since 2000 in Longmont, Colorado, and since 2005 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
